Originally designed to be stored in containers or storerooms, this goal has a removable back bar and net supports that fold flat against the frame.  Once assembled, the Academy Folding Goal is easily converted from a storage position to being game ready in a matter of minutes.  Simply remove the spring clips, place the back bar and nets supports into position, lock them into place using the spring clips and away you go!  The goal is light weight, easy to move and confirms to the FA’s new guidelines for midweight goalposts.  Ideal for clubs needing to put the goals in storage after each use.

Goal posts are manufactured using a premium grade aluminium that is extruded to form a 60mm reinforced profile.  Each post features a net channel suitable for brackets, fixings and EasyLock net clips.  The goals are polyester powder white to a high quality gloss finish that is weather proof and scratch resistant. The aluminium components will never rust, while all steel fixings are zinc coated or hot dip galvanised to prevent against corrosion. 

The goal corners are fully welded and incorporate a reinforced insert for additional strength.  This unique corner design removes the risk of corners coming apart and creating gaps during use or transportation. Frames are assembled using a unique high tensile square head safety bolt that slides into the net channel, eliminating the risk of finger entrapment.  The aluminium and steel construction make this goal incredibly light so each goal weighs less than the 42kg stipulated by BS EN 16579 and the Football Association.

This package deal includes a durable white 3mm knotted football net.  These nets are manufactured from 100mm high density polyethylene mesh that is UV protected and resistant to harsh weather.  100mm is the maximum mesh size stipulated by BS EN 16579.  EasyLock net clips simply push, twist and lock in place.  U-Peg anchors are also supplied.

The 5-a-side Academy Folding Goal is available in either 16ft x 4ft (4.80m x 1.22m) or 12ft x 4ft (3.66 x 1.22m) or 8ft x 4ft (2.12m x 1.22m).  All sizes are the official regulation size for 5-a-side soccer football (Age - Under 7’s to Under 10s) and suitable for UEFA or FIFA match play.  The Academy Folding Goal has rubber end caps making it suitable to be used on indoor and outdoor playing surfaces including grass, astro turf and sports halls.

This goal design has been independently tested to conform to BS EN 16579 by a UKAS accredited test laboratory, in accordance with Football Association requirements.  A PDF copy of the test certificate is available on request. 

Sabre goalposts are manufactured in Great Britain by PMF Products Limited.  PMF Products is a ‘Suitable Supplier’ to the English Football Association.
