The 9v9 Europa Aluminium Self-Weighted Goal is our professional-level goalpost, used by Pro Clubs and teams who refuse to compromise on quality. The thick reinforced goal frame, EasyLever wheels, and integral weights mean this goal can be used and moved on any playing surface.

Self-weighted goals are not a new concept but the latest revision in British and European Safety Standards has underlined the importance for safe and secure goalposts.  This self-weighted goal design uses solid steel bars that simply slide inside the goal frame, removing the need for U-peg anchors or unsightly handbag weights that are easily lost.  No additional ballast is required, no need to fill bottles with sand or water, simply insert the weights and you are ready to go.  Once assembled, this goal conforms to the latest safety standards without the need for additional anchoring making it perfect for artificial playing surfaces and low-maintenance grounds.

The ‘Europa’ goal frame is manufactured from a premium grade aluminium that is extruded to form a 110mm reinforced profile. This design incorporates an enclosed net channel to the rear of the posts, suitable for brackets, attachments, and net clips.  The goals are polyester powder-coated white to a high-quality gloss finish that is weatherproof and scratch resistant.  The aluminium components will never rust, while all steel fixings are treated to prevent against corrosion.  Overall, this is a low-maintenance goal.

Corners are laser cut and then strengthened by 3mm thick steel elbow joints, providing excellent stability when the goal is fully assembled.  Frames are assembled using a unique high tensile square head safety bolt that slides into the net channel, eliminating the risk of finger entrapment.  This portable goal can be moved using the EasyLever puncture-proof wheels and are operated by a simple ‘up and over’ handle.   These wheels provide approx. 100mm of ground clearance when the goal is in a raised position, allowing for easy movement over most playing surfaces. 

Each goal includes a heavy-duty white 5mm HDPE braided ‘shaped to fit’ football net.  These nets are manufactured from 100mm high density polyethylene mesh that is UV protected and resistant to harsh weather.  EasyLock net clips simply push, twist and lock in place. 

The 16ft x 7ft Europa Self-Weighted Goal is the official regulation size for 9-a-side football (Under 11’s and Under 12’s) and is suitable for UEFA or FIFA match play.  The Europa Self Weighted Goal can be used on indoor and outdoor playing surfaces including grass and astro turf.  This goal design has been independently tested to conform to the British Safety Standards (depending on size) by a UKAS accredited test laboratory, in accordance with Football Association requirements.  A PDF copy of the test certificate is available on request.
